Yalikavak is locally known as small paradise, visitors are still regarded more as guests than tourists, giving the town a well-deserved reputation for its friendliness and hospitality. The journey from Bodrum to Yalikavak provides the visitor with some spectacular scenery of the peninsular, climbing through fertile valleys, the road stops at the mountain range running down the center of the peninsular, providing unbroken views of the north and south coasts before descending to the village of Yalikavak. Once over the hills, you will see the magnificent view of Yalikavak. You will slowly descend between the orchards, full of tangerine trees, and reach Pasha Bay, Tilkicik Bay and Agacbasi Bay

Have a look at Villa Jacaranda at Tres cales, near to L,Ametlla de Mar on the Costa Dorada of Spain.
Villa Jacaranda is close to the beautiful and unspoilt fishing village of L'Ametlla De Mar. Here you will find real 'Catalan' life in the heart of the narrow streets of a typical Catalan village. The village has lots of restaurants and bars, as well as supermarkets and wonderful small bakeries and, for its size, has a surprising array of quality shops and boutiques. In the exciting selection of restaurants you will find some of the finest Mediterranean cuisine and wines at wonderfully low prices. The spectacular sandy beaches are a delight to see and enjoy.
.L'Ametlla de Mar is a working fishing village and trawlers can be seen coming into dock in the harbour on a daily basis with their haul. Small fish markets are laid out each day and families of the fisherman sell a portion of the days catch to the locals and tourists. The town of L' Ametlla de Mar is one soothing, serene town -- the place does not have skyscrapers and crowded beaches typical of tourism-awash towns. Here you are greeted with and bathed in refreshing, clean air from the mountain tops. Everywhere are pine trees, and wafting in the atmosphere is the natural, calming scent of fresh pine. The community is composed mainly of fisherfolk, and are very friendly and hospitable. Villa Jacaranda

Bitez
Bitez lies 7 km west of Bodrum, in the bay next to Gumbet. The winds here are particularly favorable for windsurfing and several water sports operators are based here. The beach is sandy, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for sunbathing.

Yaliciftlik
A 20-minute dolmus ride from Bodrum takes one through pine forests on a winding road past whitewashed water catchers (gumbets) to the beach at Yaliciftlik. The first bay after the end of Karaada Island and marking the entrance to the Gulf of Gokova, the beach has several small restaurants scattered around it. The eastern end of the beach is sandy and it is also possible to swim and sunbathe in solitude by the rocks a bit further on. The beach is pebble and so the water is beautifully clear and good for snorkelling

Gumbet
Only 2-3 km away from Bodrum, Gumbet has recently become almost a resort unto itself. Gumbet features one of the longest and most popular beaches on the peninsula. Gümbet is also one of the most popular water sports centers with water-skiing, windsurfing, parasailing, etc. available. The popularity of Gümbet has also generated serious nightlife and the streets of Gümbet vibrate till dawn with the music from numerous bars, discos and street side-cafes. More for the younger ones !
